Constellations Beneath the Tides suggests the idea of stars or celestial patterns reflected or imagined beneath the surface of ocean waves, blending the vastness of space with the mysteries of the deep sea. The title conveys a sense of wonder, serenity, and interconnectedness, perfect for artwork inspired by blue cosmic underwater themes. Lately I’ve been drawn to making blue artworks and for this piece I was torned between creating a POV of a cosmic universe like you were floating on space or an oceanic landscape, like skydiving above the great barrier reef. Realizing that a painting does not have to reflect the literal reality of life allowed me to just go with it and create without judgment.
